"Glamour -- the unbearable virtuosity of Being", is a treacherously named project of the Hamburger Tanzinitiative at the Spielbudenplatz -- an ideal place to perform. Various life-worlds come alive in 15 stacked containers, box theatre style, like a Panoptikum; they reflect in an intelligent-humorous and crazy-sad manner the narrow border between the elegance and despair of the inflated number of available starlets. Even the wonderfully broken Margarita Zafrilla lets one only vaguely imagine the magnificence of the proud Flamenco. She feels alienated in her own body, as do Stefanie Cumming and Julia Mach, who carry their skin to market in Chris Harings choreography.
