Margarita Zafrilla-Olayo (Spain) trained at the Conservatory of
Madrid and the Maria de Avila School in Zaragoza. She completed
her training at London Contemporary Dance School, graduating in
2003 with a 1st degree (BA Hons). As part of her post-graduate
studies at LCDS, the Place, she served as an apprentice with the
Richard Alston Dance Company and performed throughout England
and in New York. Margarita Zafrilla Olayo has further performed
with DV8 and Martin Lawrence. Her choreographic work includes
collaborations with the Royal College of Art (Cityscapes,
St. Luke's in 2003) and numerous works as cofounder of La
Ventana Company since 2003. Both solo and group productions have
been performed in London (Robin Howard Theatre) Germany
(Hamburg, Essen) and France (Perigueux).
