Simple Simon features 4 rocking chairs and ten feet. Movement
research supported by chisenhale dance space artist bursary
investigates the navigation of weight within the dancing body.
Swinging and beating from side to side, it follows the movement
matrices of rocking chair and pendulum as abstract models. The
dance is torn between the points of greatest deflection in the
attempt to superimpose incongruities upon one another.
